M6-30 is probably too long and you can't cut a 1mm thread without exactly the right tool so get the right length bolts for your project!ġmm threads are not at all tolerant of positioning. Probably want M6-1x25MM hex-head bolts to go in those. Zinc coated is fine but you MUST USE NUMBER 8 STEEL. You will want an M6-1 x 18mm or longer coupler nut for any project using them. The breakaway screw should never be longer than the allowed insertion point in the knob to keep the cabinet knobs in uniform with the other knobs.It cost me months and fifty bucks not knowing this because it was unfindable.
